Aida Dorantes
Founder and creative director
Draws every sketch with the client. Speaks Spanish and English.
The studio
Dorantes Mural Studio is twelve painters in three crews, working from a shop in the Arts District. Aida Dorantes started it to paint walls for the people who live and work beside them.
Every wall begins with a sketch drawn with the client, and the sketch is the contract for how the wall will look. Aida Dorantes and Mikaela Bacani speak Spanish; the rest of the studio speaks English.
